It’s hard to stay calm in the middle of a pandemic. Not to mention, tons of tasks are piled on us. We can feel lots of stress and anxiety peaking these days. The stress might give us insomnia and uneasiness. The following are a few calming apps that may just be able to help.



Shine: Calm Anxiety and Stress


Shine is a self care app that provides self care strategies, community support, motivational messages, meditation audios, stories, and music to help calm anxiety. They also offer a toolkit for COVID-19 anxiety.



Headspace: Meditation and Sleep




Headspace is a meditation app that is popular for its animations. They provide a range of meditation courses. Although most courses are locked under a paid subscription, users can access a free Basics course.



UCLA Mindful




UCLA Mindful: Meditations for Wellbeing is an app organized by the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center. It provides basic meditations in English and Spanish, wellness meditations for those with health conditions, informative videos, and weekly themed podcasts.
