When the clock first struck 12:01 on January 1st, 2020, it indicated the start of a new decade, a new opportunity for mankind and life on this earth. However, as we move on to a new decade, there are still countless children out there who are still not given the chance to learn how to read and write, and are forced out of school because of poverty. In Southern Sudan, known as one of the most uneducated countries in this world, there are still around 52.1% illiterate children and around 60% of South Sudanese children are out of school since 2018. Would the fate of these children change in 2020, or would it keep on getting worse?
