The Proposal is an American romantic comedy from 2009 that’ll distract you from reality and sweep you away into a world full of humor and heartfelt moments. It’s about Margaret, a New York editor who’s got a load of problems on her feet and decided it would be a good idea to get married to her assistant, Andrew, to fix those problems. They agree to this little arrangement in hopes of both of them getting what they want, but it doesn’t end nearly as professionally as they expected it to be. The Proposal features an endearing chemistry between Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds, making the film all the more romantic! We recommend the casual rom com enthusiast and the regular student who doesn’t know what to do to watch this movie at least once.
