One of Trump’s medical advisors, Deborah Birx, announced that the US is currently entering a different phase of the outbreak.
Birx stated that the spread of the virus was worse than the first wave of the outbreak, and is now affecting rural areas.
During her visitation to 14 different states, Birx concluded that the citizens of the US were not practicing social distancing and urged them to return from holidays in any outbreak hotspots. Birx proceeded to once again remind citizens to wear masks and practice social distancing.
